Bookish (and not so Bookish) Thoughts #30

1. I really want to read this book about inventing languages.

2. Everyone needs to watch the short film To Scale: the Solar System. Amazing.

3. I cannot wait for Pentatonix’s new album. Their cover of Where Are U Now is perfection.

4. I started listening to a new podcast called Limetown. It kind of reminds me of Serial, except it’s all fiction.

5. After both my sister and several friends repeatedly told me that I need to watch The 100, I finally saw the first episode. And I’m hooked.

6. The second half of the first season of Outlander was finally released earlier this week. So far, I’m not disappointed. Talking about Outlander, I really need to read the last book in the series, Written In My Own Heart’s Blood. It was published over a year ago (and I even had it preorder) but still haven’t gotten around to reading it. I think the problem is that it is over 800 pages long and I know that once I start reading it, I won’t get anything else done.

7. I’ve been listening to James Bay’s album Chaos and the Calm a lot lately. Let It Go is one of my favourite songs, and this dance rally captures all the feelings.
