Bookish (and not so Bookish) Thoughts #22

1. In case anyone have missed it, it’s Eurovision week! A week long celebration of everything music and glitter and wind machines. The first semi-final was yesterday and tomorrow is the second (Sweden and Iceland are both in that one) and Saturday is the big finale.

2. Like last year, I’m having a party and making my friends watch the finale with me. We’re gonna eat popcorn (and lots of other snacks) while critically judge every single song. It’s gonna be great.

3. This gives me chills. In a good way.

4. It’s almost June and it’s stressing me out. That means I only have 4 months left of my PhD, and there is so much left to do. It’s not just about finishing all the research (and writing the dissertation) but also all the preparations for moving around the world again.

5. I have a long list of books I need to finish before moving (so I can decide if they are worth shipping or if I should donate them to the local library). The problem is that I keep going to the library to get new books instead.
