What I’m Watching: I have some catching up to do

January 29, 2015 | No comments

In addition to the TV shows I actually watch every week, there’s a long list of shows I really like, but for some reason or another have gotten behind on. I clearly have some serious catching up to do.

Supernatural (Season 10) – 2 seasons behind
Dean and Sam Winchester (played by Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki) might be the best demon fighting brothers ever. I’m still on season 8, but I will catch up (eventually).

Downton Abbey (Season 5) – 2 seasons behind
I love this British drama about the Crawley household. I’ve only watched the first two seasons but I’ve heard that the show goes downhill from season 4 so I’m a bit hesitant.

Castle (Season 7) – 2 seasons behind
Murder-mystery writer Richard Castle and Detective Kate Beckett is one of my favourite crime solving duos. I just started season 6 so I’m not that far behind, right?

Grimm (Season 4) – 2 seasons behind
This supernatural crime drama, loosely based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tales, is all kinds of awesome. I just finished season 2.

Revenge (Season 4) – 2 seasons behind
I do love shows with lots of twists and turns, and Revenge definitely have that. Madeleine Stowe is perfect as the villain we love to hate. I just started season 3 so don’t tell me what happens.

The Good Wife (Season 6) – 2 seasons behind
I love political shows and shows with strong female characters. The Good Wife definitely fills both those criteria.

White Collar (6 Seasons) – 2 seasons left
I love movies and tv shows about con artists (who doesn’t?) and White Collar is no exception. Matthew Bomer is perfect as the convicted bond forger Neal Caffrey who teams up with FBI agent Peter Burke to use his skills for good.

Suits (Season 4) – 3 seasons behind
A great legal drama about attorney Harvey Specter (played by Gabriel Macht) and his protege Mike Ross (played by Patrick J. Adams).

Scandal (Season 5) – 3 seasons behind
I loved the first season of this political drama, but somehow I’m still at the beginning of season 2.

Once Upon a Time (Season 4) – 3 seasons This modern twist of traditional fairy tales is addictive. I binge watched season 1, but haven’t started season 2 yet.

Warehouse 13 (5 seasons) – 3 seasons left
I was a bit skeptic about this show but once I started watching it, I was hooked. And then I got sidetracked by other shows, and now I still have 3 seasons left to watch.

Grey’s Anatomy (Season 11) – 4 seasons behind
Considering my love for medical dramas, there’s no surprise that I’m a big fan of this show about the surgeons at Seattle Grace Hospital. I’m still on season 7. I know, I need to start watching this again.

Fringe (5 seasons) – 4 seasons left
This sci-fi drama has a great cast (Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson, and John Noble) and I love how you never know what to expect from it. I unfortunately stopped watching it when I moved away from the US and have only seen a few eruptions since then. I definitely need to watch the rest of the seasons.

The Mentalist (Season 7) – so many seasons behind
I’m a big fan of Simon Baker and I think Patrick Jane, a consultant working with the California Bureau of Investigation to solve crimes, is one of his best roles. Somehow, I haven’t manage to see any complete season, just random episodes out of order. (Which probably means that I should start over?)

Do you binge watch TV shows?
