Reading Plan 2015

January 3, 2015 | 4 comments

I’m continuing my reading goal from last year, striving for quality over quantity and trying to broaden my literary horizons. As previously, this involves a reading plan. (It’s not really necessary but I really, really like lists and books and crossing of books from lists makes me happy.) I didn’t quite finish everything on last year’s reading plan. I was clearly a bit too optimistic. This year, my reading plan/goals are a bit more focused and realistic.

1. Read 100 books
2. Read Nordic literature
2.1 Read 5 books in Swedish
2.2 Read 15 books by Nordic authors
3. Reread old favourites
3.1 Reread the Harry Potter books
    3.2 Reread the Millennium books
4. Finish/catch up on 5 series
5. Read 5 new authors
6. Read 10 non-fiction books
7. Read 15 books from my Classic Club List
8. Write 10 book reviews
9. Participate in a group read
10. Participate in a read-a-thon

I’m staying away from most reading challenges this year, but I will do the Popsugar Ultimate Reading Challenge. I’m aiming for at least 30 of the categories. It comes with a handy dandy printable list (and who can resist that?).
