Literary Junkies is an online book club that once a month meet to chat about bookish things. Once again, I’m a little late to the party, but here are my answers to this month’s questions.

1. What are you reading right now?
Insurgent by Veronica Roth. It’s the sequel to Divergent, and just as good. It’s the best books I’ve read in a long time, and I’m not usually a fan of dystopia.

2. Out of the 16 books that will be turned into a movie adaption (article here), which one are you most looking forward to seeing this year?
Divergent! I saw the trailer and had to read the books (which I obviously love, see answer to previous question).
I’m also looking forward to seeing Winter’s Tale and The Fault in Our Stars, even though I haven’t read those books (yet).

3. What was the worst book you’ve ever read?
The most recent one was The Casual Vacancy by JK Rowling. I just didn’t get it and was bored out of my mind the entire book.

4. What foods or beverages have you spilled on a book while reading? Anything good?
I’ve never spilled food on a book while reading (not that I can remember) but I have spilled tea, hot chocolate, and diet coke a couple of times.

5. Do you pictures characters as popular film or tv actors? Or do you create a whole new person in your head?
Usually I create a whole new person in my head (and I get very annoyed when I see movie adaptions and the actors don’t fit with how I envisioned the characters).

6. Out of all the authors you’ve read books by, who’s brain would you want to pick the most?
I can’t pick just one, but Neil Gaiman, Jostein Gaarder, Chris Colfer, John Marsden, and Diana Gabaldon are definitely on the list.
