Christmas Reading List

December 13, 2016 | 10 comments

Each year, I pick a couple of special books that I want to read during the Christmas holiday. It doesn’t necessarily have to be Christmas-themed books (but often it is). Last year, it was A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, the year before it was Aesop’s Fables.

This year, I’ve picked three classic books for my holiday reading list:

Juloriatoriet (The Christmas Oratorio) by Göran Tunström (Ebook, 303 pages)
A Swedish classic following a family over three generations.

Grimm’s Fairy Tales by The Brothers Grimm (Audiobook, ~3.5 hours)
A selection of 21 of The Brothers Grimm’s classic fairy tales, narrated by an all-star cast (including my favourite Jim Dale).

Great Expectations by Charles Dickens (audiobook, 18 hours)
One of Dicken’s most beloved novel about the orphan boy Pip.
