Last two weeks I finished The Trespasser by Tana French (★★★★), the sixth book about the Dublin Murder Squad, which is one of my favourite series. It was a good read but not quite as amazing as the previous books in the series.

I finally read Helsinki Blood (★★★), the fourth book about Finnish police inspector Kari Vaara by James Thompson.

I also read Smultron, bröllop och döden by Kristina Appelqvist (★★★), the last in the trilogy about literature researcher Helena Waller.

I continued my project of reading all of Michael Connelly’s books in the Harry Bosch universe. I read The Black Ice (★★★), the 2nd book about Detective Harry Bosch, and The Poet (★★★) and the sequel The Scarecrow (★★★), focusing on reporter Jack McEvoy.

I also read Virtue Falls by Christina Dodd (★★★), the first of a trilogy. It wasn’t very exciting, and I doubt I will continue the series.

This week I’m reading Blood Work by Michael Connelly, also set in the Harry Bosch universe, but focusing on the former FBI profiler Terry McCaleb.

I’m listening to This Body of Death by Elizabeth George, the 16th book in the Inspector Lynley series.

I’m also planning on reading Jane Steele by Lyndsay Faye, a retelling of Jane Eyre as a serial killer. I’m intrigued by the setup.
